Ariadne Ribbed knit tie-up earflap hat

Ariadne is a ribbed knit earflap hat with long knitted ties. Fine vertical ribs run from the crown down over the flaps, which curve down at each side of the face.

The hat sits close over the head, and the flaps cover the ears before tapering into flat ties that can be knotted under the chin or left hanging loose. The knit has a soft, slightly brushed surface, and each colour is a single solid shade.

It suits winter walks, weekends away and slow weekend mornings. Wear it with a patterned cardigan and jeans, as shown, or with a cropped jacket and a long skirt for winter city days.
