Velmaine sells women's knitwear online to customers in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit velmaine.com or shop with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Velmaine is owned and operated by Marisole Holdings Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our").

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you place an order, contact us or sign up for emails, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and order details. If you contact us, we keep a record of the conversation.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal and the wallet providers you choose (such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay or Google Pay). We never see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you browse our website, we and our service providers collect information about your device and visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, the products you add to your bag and how you arrived at our site. Most of this is collected with cookies and similar technologies, described below.

How we use your information

• To process and deliver your order, send order and shipping updates, and handle returns and refunds
• To answer your questions and provide customer support
• To send marketing emails if you've signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email)

Cookies and tracking technologies we use

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use them, and similar technologies such as pixels, for the following:

• Shopify (essential and analytics). Our store runs on Shopify. Shopify's cookies keep your bag working, run checkout, remember your privacy choices and give us anonymous statistics about store visits.
• WeTracked.io (advertising measurement). WeTracked.io records events such as page views, products added to your bag and completed purchases, and sends them to Google so we can measure the results of our Google ads.
• ParcelPanel (order tracking). When you use our Track your order page, ParcelPanel uses your order number or email address to show your shipment's status.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of our website, such as your bag and checkout, may not work.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to run our business:

• Service providers that host our store, process payments, deliver orders, send emails and provide customer support tools
• Shipping carriers, so they can deliver your order
• Advertising partners such as Google, to measure our ads, as described above
• Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, customers or business

We don't sell your personal information for money.

Depending on the state you live in, sharing information with advertising partners can count as "selling" or "sharing" personal information under US state privacy laws. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
• ask us to correct or delete it
• opt out of marketing emails, targeted advertising, and the sale or sharing of your information

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. We keep other information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy.

Keeping your information secure

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and checkout runs on Shopify's encrypted checkout. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Where your information is processed

Velmaine is operated from Australia, and our service providers, including Shopify, may store and process information in the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries.

Children

Our website isn't intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
