Refund policy

We want you to love what you buy from Velmaine. If something isn't right, you can return it within 30 days. Please read the restocking fee section before you send anything back.

30-day returns

You can return any item within 30 days of delivery for a refund, as long as it is:

• unworn, unwashed and in its original condition
• returned with its original tags attached

Sale items can be returned on the same terms as full-price items.

Restocking fee

A restocking fee of $15 USD per item applies to change-of-mind returns, including returns for size or fit. The fee is deducted from your refund.

There is no restocking fee on items that arrive faulty, damaged or incorrect, or on orders cancelled before they ship.

How to start a return

1. Email support@velmaine.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and the items you'd like to return.
2. We'll reply with your return address and instructions.
3. Pack the items securely with their tags attached and send them back.

Please don't send items back without contacting us first, so we can match your return to your order.

Return shipping

For change-of-mind returns, including returns for size or fit, return postage is paid by you. We recommend a tracked service, because we can only refund returns that reach us.

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or isn't what you ordered, we'll cover the cost of the return. See below.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, email us within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We'll arrange a replacement or a full refund, cover the cost of returning the item, and no restocking fee applies.

Refunds

Once your return arrives and we've checked it, we'll refund your original payment method, less the $15 per item restocking fee for change-of-mind returns, within 5 business days, and email you to confirm. Depending on your bank or card provider, it can take a few extra days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Shipping is free on every order, so there are no shipping charges to refund.

Exchanges

The quickest way to get a different size or color is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order, so your new piece ships straight away. The returned item is treated as a change-of-mind return, so the restocking fee applies to it.

Cancellations

To cancel an order, email us as soon as possible. If it hasn't shipped yet, we'll cancel it and refund you in full, with no restocking fee. If it has already shipped, you can return it under this policy.

Your rights

This policy doesn't affect any rights you have under applicable consumer protection laws.
